A new version of the film "Where the Red Fern Grows", filmed in Oklahoma is out on DVD just in time for the holidays.

Much of the Disney remake was shot in Tahlequah and Wagoner along the Illinois River and the Cookson Hills.

Money problems put the production on hold for a few years, but it was eventually finished and as of Tuesday, you should be able to find it at the video store.
