NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ A Noble man has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident in Cleveland County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Phillip Smith died at the scene of the accident on 150th Street and Cedar Lane Road at about 3:45 Monday afternoon.

He was pinned in his vehicle for nearly 45 minutes before Norman fire fighters could free him.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the accident, but one of the cars may have been passing left of center.

The driver of the second car was transported to the hospital with leg injuries and internal injuries.
