ALDERSON, Okla. (AP) _ Three people were killed and four people were critically injured in a head-on collision on U.S. 270 in southeastern Oklahoma, authorities said.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the victims as Autumn Hernandez, 21, of Gowen, Zachary Suggs, 19, of Lamar, Mo., and Noa Corona of McAlester, 28.

The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday when the driver of the car in which Hernandez and Suggs were passengers went off the right side of the road. The driver overcorrected, crossed the highway and crashed head-on into the car in which Corona was riding, troopers said.

Both drivers, as well as two other passengers in the car in which Hernandez and Suggs were riding, were hospitalized in critical condition.

The collision occurred about one mile east of Alderson, just south of McAlester in Pittsburg County.
