Some young Tulsans got a lesson in transportation Wednesday, the old fashion way.

Kindergarten and Pre-K students at Marion Anderson Elementary School spent the day in the pool studying canoes and kayaks.

The purpose of the lesson is to teach students how along time ago people used water to get around.
