Bama Pies in Tulsa is a winner of one of the most prestigious business awards in the entire country.

Bama is one of only four recipients of the 2004 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The Award is given by the President of the United States to outstanding organizations. The winners are judged in several areas including leadership, strategic planning and business results.

Bama won in the manufacturing category.

Bama Companies CEO Paula Marshall-Chapman: â€œEverybody is real excited. They've worked so hard. All their work is validated. They really believe now they are the best in the world and we believe it too."

The company will be presented with the award by President Bush in the early part of next year.
