The News on 6 and Mathis Brothers announced the latest winner in the Friday Football Fever Battle of the Bands contest Tuesday.

When many of the Wilburton band students were told to go to the band room, some thought they had done something wrong. Turns out they did something right! The band was entered into our Battle of the Bands contest and received a big check for $1,000. Wilburton won in class 2A.

The high school band will use the $1,000 for a scheduled band trip to Florida next spring.

The News on 6 will announce more winners throughout the week channel 6.
