Friday couldn't have been much sweeter for a Tulsa woman. She won the Grand Prize in the PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open Golf tournament "Guess the Birdies" contest.

It's a fund raiser for charity. Make contribution to your favorite charity, and guess the number of birdies scored by the players during the tournament. There were nearly 3,000 guessers. None got the correct number and so the computer randomly selected Pat Bailey of Tulsa as the winner. Friday she was surprised with a new Buick Renier.

Pat Bailey's contribution was to the Chromosome 18 Registry, one of her ten grandchildren has a chromosome 18 abnormality, and so it's a favorite charity for the family and a nice surprise on a Friday afternoon.
