STIGLER, Okla. (AP) _ The American Civil Liberties Union says it isn't planning a lawsuit over a monument displaying the Ten Commandments outside the Haskell County courthouse in Stigler.

The 8-foot monument with the Ten Commandments on one side and the Mayflower Compact on the other was unveiled Sunday.

Michael Camfield with the ACLU of Oklahoma says no legal action to challenge the monument is planned because the US Supreme Court will address the issue.

Cases concerning similar monuments in Texas and Kentucky are expected to be heard by the court early next year.
