An unlikely discovery in midtown Tulsa prompted one viewer to call the News on 6. Lou Owen lives near 51st and Harvard.
She found a bizarre blue box on the roof of her house. Attached to it, a letter with a phone number. She called the number, and it turns out, it was a weather balloon or part of one anyway. "He said they give out six a year, never had one land on a house."
Miss Owen says she plans to keep the balloon, until she's confident that's what it really is.
The note attached said something about the US Department of Energy Atmosphere Program.
