The Tulsa County Sheriffâ€™s Office has a new crime fighting tool.

The department received a new truck Tuesday. The vehicle will be used by the Sheriff's Special Operations Team, for activations and hostage negotiation efforts.

The truck, a 1997 dual cab ambulance, was donated to the sheriff's office by Tulsa Life Flight.

It was refurbished by the Tulsa International bus plant.
