KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) _ The Seattle Seahawks placed special-teams standout Alex Bannister on injured reserve Friday, along with practice-squad receiver D.J. Hackett.
Bannister, a receiver who reached the Pro Bowl last season for his play on special teams, broke his collarbone in last week's victory over Carolina. He had six special-teams tackles this season.
The Seahawks signed Jerheme Urban and Taco Wallace from the practice squad to fill the two roster spots. In the preseason, Urban had eight catches for 85 yards and a touchdown while Wallace had seven catches for 80 yards.
Hackett, who has been bothered by a sore hip, hasn't played this season.
