A Tulsa man is shaken, but okay after an attempted robbery.

It happened near the Red Fox Apartments at 16th and Memorial around 11:30 PM Thursday.

Tulsa Police say the man was walking when another man approached him. They talked for a minute and the suspect left. Moments later he hit the victim in the head and tried to take his wallet. He ran off with nothing.

The victim was not seriously hurt but needed stitches.

No one has been arrested.
