OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A 40-year trend of voting for the Republican candidate for president continues in Oklahoma.
President George Bush cruised to an easy victory over Democrat John Kerry, winning by a near 2-to-1 margin.
State Republican Party chairman Gary Jones had predicted a landslide for Bush and says the win will help GOP candidates in the state.
Oklahomans have voted for the Republican presidential candidate in every election since 1964.
