BOISE CITY, Okla. (AP) _ Election officials in the Oklahoma Panhandle say a driving snow and high winds didn't keep early voters away from the polls.
The National Weather Service says more snow is possible on election day today in the Panhandle and scattered showers are expected throughout the state.
But the weather isn't expected to affect turnout in the Panhandle.
Beaver County Election Board Secretary Vera Floyd says Panhandle residents are good and strong and she doesn't think the weather will keep anyone away.
And Beckham County Election Board Secretary Bunny Neff says a little rain won't stop anyone because there's so much interest in the election.
