More than a thousand people lined up Monday morning outside the Visiting Nurses Association offices at 2745 East Skelly Drive for a two-hour wait to get a flu shot.
Nurses started passing out more than 13,000 doses Monday morning to high-risk individuals. They are following the CDC's guidelines to make sure the shots go to those who need them the most.
The VNA expects FluMist for others, later this week.
