There are job cuts at Ponca Cityâ€™s largest employer. ConocoPhillips says it will eliminate 40 jobs at its plant in Ponca City next year.

Officials say the employees will no longer be needed as the facility moves forward with development and commercialization.

Earlier this week, ConocoPhillips reported a net income of $2-billion.
