A crook with a hook to Texaco may have been caught.
It started with a late Wednesday night robbery of an EZ Mart near 41st and Mingo. The Texaco robber hits two convenience stores a night, with the second one always being the Texaco at I-44 and Yale.
That store has been robbed five times in 2 weeks.
So after the EZ Mart robbery, a Tulsa Police officer headed to that Texaco and waited. Sure enough, the robber showed up. While he was inside robbing, the officer blocked the suspect's truck and waited for him to come out.
The robber tried running away instead, but officers caught him across the street.
No one was injured in either robbery.
