WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ The Boeing plant in Wichita is the scene of a high-level company meeting and a rally by labor groups Monday.
Boeing's board of directors was meeting behind closed doors amid speculation about the sale of the company's commercial airplane operations in Wichita and Oklahoma.
It's uncertain if the directors were taking up the possible sale Monday. Union officials said the expected the matter to be discussed, but the company described the board's agenda as routine.
Meanwhile, an hour-long labor rally was set for late Monday morning outside Boeing's administration building. Boeing workers and Wichita politicians were among those taking part.
