To participate in this unprecedented event, log onto the Detroit Pistons website at, or the Detroit Free Press website at or The Detroit News website at and fill out the online entry form anytime from Monday, October 25th at 12:01 a.m. to Monday, November 1st at Noon. One entry will be chosen at random from all eligible entries and will receive two tickets to the Pistons opener against the Houston Rockets on November 2nd when the ring will be presented by Pistons captains Chauncey Billups and Ben Wallace during the national broadcast.

"This is the first time to our knowledge that a professional sports team has awarded a championship ring as a symbolic thank you to the fans," said Tom Wilson, president and CEO of the Pistons and Palace Sports & Entertainment. "We felt it was a natural thing to do, since our fans are the hardest-working in all of sports, supporting us in league-leading numbers the past two years and creating so much noise and positive energy at The Palace."
