Some young Tulsans spent their fall break at the fifth annual Recycle Olympics. Hundreds of local students gathered at McClure Park Thursday to participate in all kinds of competitions, from an obstacle course to academic trivia.
The purpose, to encourage recycling in our community. East Central student Osman Sheikh: "We want to help the community and have some fun."
Recycle Olympics was created by the East Central Youth Committee in 2000.
