TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) -- A 16-year-old boy is dead after crashing his motorcycle at Tahlequah Wednesday morning.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jonathon Hutton of Welling was killed in the crash just before 6:30 on State Highway 82.

Troopers say Hutton was speeding when he tried to slow down, then lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle.
