Flu season is here. And if it's anything like last year, there will be plenty of people calling in sick. But the McAlester school district says it has got a plan if the flu reaches epidemic proportions.
Administrators say they have plenty of substitute teachers available, but even that's not fool-proof.
In the past, flu shots were given to teachers. That won't be possible this year since there is a vaccine shortage.
