A high speed chase lands one person in jail early Monday morning.

The chase ended in Tulsa near 7th and Joplin. It started in Sapulpa when officers got a call that someone was stealing semi-truck tires from a business.

When police went to check it out, the suspect drove off. The chase went down Southwest Boulevard to I-244, when Tulsa Police were called in.

The suspect got off the highway and drove around parts of the city before he tried to run off on foot. He was soon captured.

No name has been released and charges are pending.
