OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The top-rated high-school football teams in Oklahoma continued their winning ways last week and held firm in their positions in The Associated Press' statewide poll this week.
The only change at Number 1 was in 4A, where Clinton and Ada continued to trade the top spot. Clinton beat Guymon 70-to-6 to break a tie with Ada, which beat Douglass 35-to-0.
It's the third time this season Clinton has held the top spot by itself. Ada dropped to Number 2, with undefeated Broken Bow and Oologah right behind.
The remaining top-ranked teams _ Jenks in 6A, Carl Albert in 5A, Kingfisher in 3A, Sulphur in 2A, Pawnee in Class A, Weleetka in Class B, and Shattuck in Class C _ all stayed undefeated and unwavering in their Number 1 rankings.
The only top-ranked team to face a ranked opponent was Kingfisher, which handled fifth-ranked Tuttle 31-to-20.
Seminole, Berryhill and Victory Christian all won to move to 6-0 and stayed in line behind Kingfisher in the rankings. Eufaula, which had been tied with Tuttle at Number 5, took over sole possession of the position with a 49-to-14 win against Checotah.
