TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The Arkansas Travelers pounded out 10 hits in an 8-3 win over Tulsa that pushes the Drillers to the brink of elimination for the Texas League North Division first-half title.

The loss drops the Drillers three games behind first-place Springfield and the Cardinals' magic number is now two. A win by Springfield and a loss by Tulsa in Friday night's game would eliminate the Drillers from the first-half race.

Arkansas catcher Bobby Wilson had two doubles and drove in 3 runs to lead the Travelers offense while Tulsa pitchers allowed 5 walks and hit three batters in addition to giving up 10 hits.

Arkansas and Tulsa play again Friday night in Tulsa.
