Paris Packing Her Bags For World Championship Team

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Courtney Paris is packing her bags again. <br/><br/>The 2007 Associated Press Player of the Year will try out for the 2007 USA Basketball Womens U-21 World Championship Team this week.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Courtney Paris is packing her bags again.

The 2007 Associated Press Player of the Year will try out for the 2007 USA Basketball Womens U-21 World Championship Team this week. If Paris makes it she'll spend the next month of her summer playing hoops in three different countries.

The USA U-21 Team opens training camp in Colorado Springs Tuesday and will send a 12-member squad to France on June 16th.

The team will train and play in a tournament in Antibes, France, and then travel to Moscow, Russia, for final preparations.

The U-21 World Championships get underway June 29th and run through July 8th.

With the U-20 World Championship Team last summer, Paris led the U.S. in scoring and rebounding with averages of 14.2 and 8.4, respectively.
