One person is dead after what Tulsa Police say is road rage that got out of hand. It happened Sunday afternoon near 21st and Riverside Drive. Police say two drivers pulled into a parking lot near 21st Street. Tulsa Police officers say when the two men got out of their cars, 67-year-old Kenneth Gumm shot and killed 48-year-old Dale Turney.

Detectives say Gumm turned over his weapon to a park ranger and waited for Tulsa Police to arrive on scene. Tulsa Police say Gumm "does" have a concealed weapons permit, and he's not in custody.

Tulsa Police Captain Steve Bayles says they were lucky bystanders were not caught in the crossfire. "We had at least 50 cars here in the parking lot when the shooting took place, but a number of people were in enjoying the park at the time. And we had at least 3 or 4 people who actually witnessed the shooting that are assisting us in figuring out what exactly happened."

It will be up to the Tulsa County District Attorney to decide if Gumm will face any charges.
