There are major new developments in a homicide police say was a thrill killing. A homeless man was beaten to death two nights ago in Tulsa. News On 6 anchor Jennifer Loren reports that on Friday, police say they have two of their suspects behind bars.
A homeless man looking for a dry place to sleep found an abandoned apartment Wednesday night. According to police, four men looking for a place to party also thought the abandoned apartment would suit their needs. But when they found the homeless man inside, investigators say, they beat him to death, they think, just for the thrill of it. On Friday, investigators got a tip that led them to two suspects, who they arrested at a house in the same neighborhood as the abandoned apartment.
"At that location we came in contact with two subjects who we've placed under arrest for the beating death of Mr. Sealy," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Mike Huff.
Those two subjects are brothers Dusty and Leslie McGee, but police say there are more people they want to talk to.
"We're looking for another subject, a person of interest at this time, a 20-year-old man by the name of Patrick Fleeger," said Huff.
As investigators look for Fleeger, they say the first person they were looking for in this case, a man named Justin Grundy, is no longer a person of interest. Meanwhile that abandoned apartment has been boarded up.
If you know where police can find the third person of interest in this case, Patrick Fleeger, or if you have any other information about this crime, call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS.
