NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Joe Dunigan hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 10th inning to lift Oklahoma to an 8-7 win over Texas Tech in Big 12 Conference baseball.

It was Dunigan who helped force extra innings when he scored on Mike Gosse's groundout in the bottom of the eighth to tie the game at 7. Texas Tech managed to get a runner on base, but couldn't score before OU reliever Joseph Hughes got a strikeout and two groundouts to end the game.

Hughes (6-3) earned the win, allowing four hits and one run in three innings of relief.

Chris Ortmeier (0-3) allowed one hit and one run in 2 and a third innings of relief in the losing effort for Texas Tech.
