ANTLERS, Okla. (AP) -- Investigators with the state Department of Environmental Quality claim they found between 5,000 and 10,000 gallons of raw sewage and grease on a man's property in Antlers.

Clyde Taylor was charged Monday in Pushmataha County District Court with a felony count of violating the Oklahoma Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Act and a misdemeanor count of owning or operating an unpermitted solid waste disposal site.

The owner of the Southeastern Sanitation Service, Taylor could face up to three years in prison and a fine of up to a $50,000 if convicted. He could also be ordered to clean up the property and lose his license.

DEQ investigator Dennis Williams says this is the largest criminal sewage dumping case he's ever seen.

Taylor is out of jail on bond.
