DALLAS (AP) _ As Dallas officials talk with Oklahoma State and Texas Tech about playing their annual football game in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants the game in his new stadium.
Dallas Mayor Laura Miller has said she hopes to finalize an OSU-Tech game in the Cotton Bowl by the time her term ends on June 30th.
Now Tech athletic director Gerald Myers says Jones flew to Lubbock to show Tech officials the designs of his $1 billion stadium that will open in Arlington in 2009.
Jones declined comment while OSU athletic director Mike Holder says he hasn't been contacted by Jones.
Holder also says the situation is nothing more than talk so far and isn't close to being finalized.
