OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ The Big 12 softball tournament gets under way Thursday afternoon at ASA Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City.

9th-seeded Oklahoma State plays Texas Tech and 6th-seeded Kansas plays tenth-seed Iowa State with both games starting at five o'clock.

Baylor is the regular season champion and the top seed and the Bears will play the OSU-Texas Tech winner Friday afternoon at 1:30.

Oklahoma is the second seed and plays the Kansas-Iowa State winner Friday morning at 11.

The other first round games have Texas playing Missouri Friday morning at 11:30 and Texas A&M plays Nebraska Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
