OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Authorities say traffic fatalities in Oklahoma are down this year compared to the same point of 2006.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that 194 people have died on state roads since the start of 2007. That's compared to 221 who had died through May 5th of last year.

So far this month, the OHP says two people have died in traffic accidents in Oklahoma.
