SILVIS, Ill. (AP) -- Oklahoma State sophomore Jonathan Moore will get another chance to play in a PGA Tour event this season.

The John Deere Classic announced today that Moore is one of three players that will be granted sponsor exemptions to play in the July tournament outside Chicago.

Moore is the defending NCAA golf champion. He played in the Verizon Heritage in South Carolina last month, but missed the cut by one stroke.

He also played in the U.S. Open last year.
