Both southbound lanes of the Muskogee Turnpike are back open after a truck fire caused the Oklahoma Highway Patrol to close the southbound lanes of the turnpike near mile maker 7 in Wagoner County overnight.
Around 4 a.m. Wednesday, OHP troopers say the rear brakes started a fire in the truck's cargo area. The truck was carrying a load of catalytic converters, which created a difficult fire to put out.
No one was injured in the blaze east of Broken Arrow.
