NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Three former Oklahoma players who went undrafted in last weekend's NFL draft have signed free-agent contracts with various teams.
OU linebacker Zach Latimer signed with the Washington Redskins, while defensive end Larry Birdine signed with the Green Bay Packers.
Quarterback Paul Thompson, who played wide receiver for the Sooners in his junior year, also will have a chance to make an NFL roster after reaching a free-agent deal with the New York Jets.
The Sooners had three players selected in the NFL Draft _ Adrian Peterson and Rufus Alexander to Minnesota and C.J. Ah You to Buffalo.
