NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- A scheduled baseball doubleheader Tuesday between Oklahoma and Texas-Arlington is rained out.
The games will not be made up.
OU and UTA had been scheduled to play a single game last week, but that game was rained out and moved to Tuesday, when the teams had another scheduled game.
OU coach Sunny Golloway says he's disappointed because the Sooners wanted to play the games, but he says there is standing water in the outfield at OU's L. Dale Mitchell Park.
OU will return to action this weekend in the Bedlam series against archrival Oklahoma State.
OU is looking to snap a two-game losing streak after dropping two of three to Kansas last weekend.
