TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) -- A food service employee has been accused of making a bomb threat at Northeastern State University.
Federal prosecutors filed the complaint Friday against William Scott Kramer, 36, an employee of Sodexho, a food service company that services Northeastern State University.
Kramer told detectives he was stupid for making the threat, according to an affidavit signed by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Special Agent Carlos Sandoval.
The criminal complaint accuses him of creating a hoax and providing false information.
On Wednesday, the ATF, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol bomb squad and NSU police investigated a device made to look like a bomb that had a note saying, "I am going to blow this place up and kill everyone in it. I mean it."
OHP bomb squad member Buddy Hamilton decided the device was a hoax, the affidavit states.
It was constructed from a white Styrofoam cup turned upside down with two wires protruding from it.
