Law enforcement officials are asking Oklahoma bank tellers to be on the look out for Eric Dougless. Dougless is a person of interest in a Wednesday morning robbery at the Mid America Feed Mill in Talala.

Police say 55 company checks were stolen during the burglary. A man, identified as Dougless, tried to cash one of those checks Wednesday afternoon at the Arvest Bank located at 2nd and Memorial in Tulsa. But an observant bank teller became suspicious and did not cash the check.

Dougless left the bank in a tan colored Pontiac Aztec. Bank employees were unable to get a tag number.

Eric Dougless is a person of interest in the case since he was the man who tried to cash the stolen and forged check.

Fifty-four stolen checks are still unaccounted for, so Talala Police Chief Phillip Coe is asking all bank and check-cashing businesses to be on the lookout for Dougless.

Anyone with information on Dougless’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Talala Police Department at 918-857-2699.
