Muskogee Police say they have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in their city last week. Police say 20-year-old Bryan Russell was arrested late Tuesday night near the community of Summit in Muskogee County. Muskogee Police say Russell is accused of gunning down a neighbor during a dispute on Friday, April 20.
Witnesses told Muskogee Police there was a loud argument between Russell and the victim, 34-year-old Gary Orman before the shooting.
Muskogee Police say a man who reportedly drove Russell away from the scene was arrested Saturday morning. Cory Logan turned himself in and was booked into the Muskogee County jail on complaint of ‘accessory to commit murder.’
Russell was booked into the Muskogee County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.
Friday’s homicide was first for the city of Muskogee this year.
