Murder Suspect Arrested

Muskogee Police say they have arrested a suspect wanted in connection with a homicide in their city last week. Police say 20-year-old Bryan Russell was arrested late Tuesday night near the community of Summit in Muskogee County. Muskogee Police say Russell is accused of gunning down a neighbor during a dispute on Friday, April 20.

Witnesses told Muskogee Police there was a loud argument between Russell and the victim, 34-year-old Gary Orman before the shooting.

Muskogee Police say a man who reportedly drove Russell away from the scene was arrested Saturday morning. Cory Logan turned himself in and was booked into the Muskogee County jail on complaint of â€˜accessory to commit murder.â€™

Russell was booked into the Muskogee County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.

Fridayâ€™s homicide was first for the city of Muskogee this year.
