MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) -- Oklahoma scores 7 runs in the 3rd inning Sunday and cruises to a 12-4 win over Kansas State.
Joe Dunigan capped the 3rd-inning barrage for the Sooners with a grand slam that put OU up 8-2. Dunigan finished with 2 hits and 4 RBIs.
OU moves to 27-15 overall and 7-8 in Big 12 Conference play while Kansas State falls to 25-15 and 6-9.
Aaron Reza had 3 hits for the Sooners, including a home run, and Ryan Mottern added 3 hits and 2 RBIs.
OU's Nich Conaway gave up 4 runs on 6 hits and struck out 7 in 6 innings in his first career start to record the win. Conaway is 3-1 on the baseball season.
