DETROIT (AP) _ Ford Motor Company says it has a preliminary agreement to sell three glass plants including the one in Tulsa to a Tulsa-based private investor. Terms of the agreement were not released. Ford is looking to sell its unprofitable Automotive Components Holdings group and says it now has a ``memorandum of understanding'' with Glass Products.

Glass Products was formed by investor Robert Price in Tulsa.

The other two plants in the sale are in Nashville, Tennessee, and Juarez, Mexico.

A final sale depends on reaching a new agreement with the United Auto Workers, as well as state and local government incentives.
