UNDATED (AP) -- The two teams fighting it out for the final NBA playoff berth will be on the court this evening: Golden State hosts Dallas and the Los Angeles Clippers are at Phoenix. The Warriors are 8th in the Western Conference, one game better than the Clippers. Both have two games to play.
Cleveland has an important road outing at Philadelphia. The Cavaliers are a half-game behind 2nd-seeded Chicago in the East race. To overtake the Bulls, the Cavs have to win Tuesday night and Wednesday against visiting Milwaukee and have Chicago lose Wednesday night's season-finale at New Jersey.
Washington enters its home game against Orlando in 6th place in the East, just a half-game better than the idle Nets. The Wizards are playing without injured All Stars Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler and have dropped seven of their last eight. The Magic clinched the last playoff berth in the East over the weekend.
Detroit, the #1 seed in the East, hosts the Atlantic Division champion Toronto Raptors, the #3 seed.
Indiana at Atlanta rounds out the pro hoops slate.
