New houses mean new energy for one north Tulsa neighborhood. Several homes in the neighborhood in the 1700 block of East Virgin Street have been unveiled to real estate brokers interested in listing the properties.
The new homes are energy efficient, have home security systems, and run between $120,000 and $260,000.
The home’s developer wants to spur more growth and home ownership in the area. "The thought was to create some synergy in different areas of the city but particular being in north Tulsa but not to isolate them all in one spot so as to create again that synergy where the community looks at these houses and feel like it creating a catalyst to promote growth and development," says Terry McGee with McGee Enterprises.
A Tulsa financing company has offered to help potential buyers qualify. Bond money is also available.
