STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) Corey Brown and Tyler Mach had 5 RBIs each to help lead Oklahoma State to a 21-2 victory over Arkansas State on Wednesday.
The Cowboys (25-8) never trailed and had built an 11-0 lead when Brandon Eller's RBI got the Indians (14-22) on the scoreboard in the 6th inning.
Guy Brown reached 1st base on a fielder's choice in the 7th inning to narrow Oklahoma State's advantage to 12-2, but the Cowboys rattled off 9 runs in the bottom half of the frame to erase any possible scoring threat by Arkansas State.
Corey Brown finished 3-4, including a 2-run homer in the 7th inning. Mach went 3-6, with a 2-run home run in the 5th and a homer in the 7th. Ty Wright, Rebel Ridling, Jordy Mercer, Kevin David and Kendall Horner all had RBIs.
Guy Brown and Eller had 1 RBI apiece for Arkansas State.
Matt Gardner (4-0) allowed 2 hits and no runs in 5 innings for Oklahoma State.
Jack McGrath (1-1) took the loss, allowing 12 hits and 11 runs, all earned, in 4 2-3 innings for Arkansas State.
