MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) _ The Oklahoma City Blazers have won a Central Hockey League playoff series for the first time since winning the league championship six years ago.
The Blazers beat Memphis 3-to-2 Tuesday night to win the first-round series 4-games-to-3.
The Blazers advance to the second round and will play at Colorado Friday night with game two in Oklahoma City on Saturday.
Despite losing the series Memphis also advances to play Bossier-Shreveport in the second-round.
