LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Rebel Ridling goes 3-5 with a home run and 3 RBIs Sunday, leading Oklahoma State to a 7-5 win over Nebraska.
Ridling's fifth home run of the baseball season was a 2-run shot in the 7th inning that put OSU up 7-4 and allowed the Cowboys to hold their lead when Nebraska scored in the bottom of the inning.
Justin Friend moved to 3-2 by earning the pitching win with 4 2-3 innings of relief for OSU.
Jordy Mercer allowed 1 hit over the final 2 innings to pick up his first save.
Tyler Mach was 2-5 and scored 2 runs for the Cowboys, while Ty Wright and Corey Brown also each had a pair of hits.
D.J. Belfonte had 3 hits for Nebraska, which falls to 19-12 overall and 5-7 in the Big 12 Conference.
OSU moves to 23-8 overall and 6-3 in league play.
