UNDATED (AP) -- The wintery weather in Cleveland continues to play havoc with the Indians home schedule. For the second straight day, snow and extreme cold forced their doubleheader with the Seattle Mariners to be postponed.
The teams were snowed out of a day-night doubleheader yesterday, when they were attempting to make up Friday's game. That was called off after the teams had completed only four innings and endured nearly three hours in delays.
Now the Mariners and Indians will try to salvage half of their four-game series by playing two Monday.
Checking the rest of Sunday’s schedule, the American League slate has Baltimore playing the Yankees in New York, Toronto is at Tampa Bay, the White Sox play host to Minnesota, Detroit's at Kansas City and the Los Angeles Angels host Oakland.
The lone night game takes place in Arlington, Texas, with the Rangers taking on Curt Schilling and the Boston Red Sox.
All of the National League games are being played in daylight. The schedule features Atlanta entertaining New York, Philadelphia visiting Florida, Cincinnati hosting Pittsburgh, Arizona at Washington, Milwaukee at home to Chicago, St. Louis playing in Houston, Colorado facing the Padres in San Diego and Los Angeles going for the three-game sweep at San Francisco.
