The Easter Bunny makes an early stop in Tulsa. He flew in on a helicopter to drop his eggs at Guts Church Saturday morning. Hundreds of kids swarmed the field and grabbed the eggs. The church says some eggs contained money, up to $100, others were filled with candy. The pastor says he was a little concerned about the temperature, but says about a thousand kids registered for the egg hunt.

"We just wanna celebrate family and that's what this is,” said Pastor Bill Scheer. “It's just us, honestly, helping parents provide fun for their kids and it being wholesome and healthy."

But, the hunt wasn't the only part of Saturday’s fun. The church set up inflatable games, giveaways, had a costume contest and set up a petting zoo, complete with pony rides.

The Easter Bunny will take a break from hiding eggs on Sunday. Pastor Scheer says the Kids Director will wrestle the Easter Bunny on Sunday.
