ATLANTA (AP) -- Police say three people were shot Saturday afternoon at a mall in southwest Atlanta.

An Atlanta police spokesman says that one of the shooting victims has life-threatening wounds. All three were taken to the hospital.

Police say it appears the shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. Eastern time during an attempted robbery at a store in Greenbriar Mall. One of the people shot is a security guard, though it's unclear whether that's the person in critical condition.

Police say they have no information on the suspect or suspects except that they got away in a Ford Expedition SUV.
